Baseline-RTS Ltd is a UK-based reliability engineering and condition-based maintenance (CBM) specialist, established in 2018 and led by practising Reliability & CBM Engineer, Micky Jackson.
The company was formed following the closure of Alpine Components, where Micky spent over 11 years delivering nationwide training, demonstrations, and on-site support across the UK and Ireland. Baseline-RTS continues that legacy, offering independent, technically grounded advice and support to organisations that rely on critical assets.
Baseline-RTS applies reliability engineering principles with a condition-based maintenance mindset.
We assess assets in context – understanding how failure develops, which inspection method is appropriate, and when intervention will deliver maximum benefit.
This approach ensures clients receive proportionate, technically justified recommendations that align with operational realities.
Baseline-RTS operates at the intersection of reliability engineering, condition-based maintenance, and energy conservation. We have extensive experience supporting power generation, utilities, water infrastructure, and other critical industries.
Our approach reflects operational realities – limited access, live systems, and the need for clear, actionable reporting rather than generic observations. As an official Teledyne FLIR partner, we provide access to industry-leading technology while maintaining independence from sales targets and generic selection algorithms. Every recommendation is made based on asset criticality, failure stage, and practical application, not price or volume.
Baseline-RTS operates with processes aligned to recognised quality principles. While we do not hold ISO 9001 certification, all work is conducted with a focus on:
Director-level oversight ensures that all sales, services, and training meet these high standards. Policy documentation is available on request.
